To cap off the first anniversary of Konga Beat, version 1.1.0 is live! My focus with this release is on making Konga Beat easier to use and more stable than ever before. I aggregated feedback from the community over the past several months and used it to inform the latest features. Additionally, I spent significant time scrutinizing the overall stability and usability of Konga Beat to identify and address as many bugs and pain points as possible. While I'm sure there's room for more improvements and fixes, I'm pretty happy with how this update has turned out. Here's a rundown of what's available starting today and what's ahead:

Sometimes a song's pacing requires adding a short delay. Usually, that means taking your song into a separate audio editing application, like Audacity, to add empty padding at the start. To save folks some time, I have added an "Insert Padding" option in the Edit tab that lets you add a delay (in seconds or measures) at the start of the song. This feature is not destructive, so you can even go back and modify it later.

I also added the option to set Konga Launcher's path in the settings, making it easier to check out your track in the game. If Konga Launcher isn't already open, Konga Beat will now take care of that for you!
There are a bunch more additions, fixes, and improvements included in 1.1.0 (over 40 in total!), so I encourage you to check out the changelog for more details. Please try it out and let me know what you think here.
Have a great weekend!

Konga Beat 1.1.0 - Windows (Download) [Patch Notes]
The most notable feature in this release is the ability to view all the 1P tracks (Monkey, Chimp, and Gorilla) at once. Now you can work on single-player scores concurrently without ever needing to switch between them. In the score selection dropdown, pick "1P All" or use the new score selection hotkey (Numpad 0 by default).

Coming Soon
Konga Launcher 0.9.4
With the most recent Konga Beat update out of the way, I will now shift my attention to Konga Launcher and begin a series of updates in the lead-up to the 1.0.0 release. While I have many improvements and fixes in mind for Konga Launcher, I don't know which will be part of the next update. I'm expecting to have 0.9.4 out early next year.In Summary
An updated version of Konga Beat is now available, which includes a view showing all the 1P scores together and an option to add padding/delay to the start of the song. My focus will now be on Konga Launcher, with the next version coming in early 2026.Have a great weekend!
