I'm not sure how to title this thread, but I appear to ran to yet another problem.

When I tried to undo a misplaced beat or go to another project, the BPM marker disappears. I'm not sure why, but this is quite bothersome as the music I am modding has frequent BPM changes.
When I tried to open the same project (or alternatively just go to a different project file), the program freezes. I am not sure why, and I'm not sure if this is a big enough issue, but I have encountered this problem fairly frequent enough to be report-worthy.

I also found another bug while testing this out (to make sure that this bug isn't a flunk).
Undoing or going to a different project file will lock the currently loaded project state as it is. You can edit the file, but you cannot save it. I tried that before, and the file I hit "Save" doesn't save the progress I made when I loaded it.
The only way to save the file (for now) is to "Save as New Project" and replace or rename the file.

The only consistent solution I came with is to close and reopen the program. This is quite cumbersome, since I know that not everybody wants to do that, and I hope this gets fix soon.

I also attached the screenshot as proof of the glitch.

That's really strange! I haven't been able to reproduce this yet, but I'm looking into it. In the meantime, would you be open to sharing your log? That might give me some insight into what's causing the freezing.

If you're open to it, your log (Player.log) should be located here: C:\Users\{YOUR USERNAME}\AppData\LocalLow\Konga Beat Contributors\Konga Beat\
 
After some investigation, I identified a couple of candidates that may be contributing to the issues you're experiencing. After closing all your current Konga-related windows (Konga Beat, Konga Launcher, and Dolphin), try running this version of the editor and let me know if you're still running into the same issues.

The bug has been fixed.
Neither the BPM ticket disappeared while switching projects nor does the program freeze when I switch projects again.

However, I have found yet another bug. This time, it's about the Konga Launcher ver. 0.9.2 and how it behaves around the Dolphin (or so I think).
While it does convert the Japanese text to shiftJIS correctly, when I tried to playtest the score, the game freezes when it tries to load them.
For clarification, the game previews the song just fine, and the Japanese characters does showed up as intended.
It was just when I loaded the game for playtest that the game froze. I'm not sure if it's on my side or if it's the Launcher's fault in some way.

Just to make sure this bug iasn't a fluke, I uninstalled Konga Launcher, devolved to ver. 0.9.1 (I later found out that I just have to directly reinstall the old version), and re-playtest my stage.
The Japanese characters doesn't show up as intended, but the game doesn't freeze while trying to load the song, and I can playtest them just fine.
I evolved to ver. 0.9.2, and that is where I hit a snag,

I devolved and evolved between two versions over and over just to make sure it isn't my fault.

In conclusion, something must be wrong with Konga Launcher ver. 0.9.2 for it to prevent the game from playing properly.

Another note: Konga Beat ver. 1.0.4b5 is compatible with Konga Launcher ver. 0.9.1. So I know it isn't Beat's fault.
 
I'm really glad to hear the other bugs have been fixed! I was able to reproduce the issue you're running into now, so I should have a fix for that shortly. You are correct that this is an issue with Konga Launcher, not Konga Beat.

The Japanese text has finally showed up properly and both Beat and Launcher are behaving as expected.
The bugs that I'd encountered before has finally been fixed, and I'm now able to continue my mod as planned.
I'm so sorry for troubling you with the constant bug-reporting, and I'm glad I was able to contribute to the bugtesting part.
